Is anyone familar with this aplication? It says on the web site:

100% compatible with OziExplorer maps and
data files. Can read and write .plt, . wpt, .map, . names files

Ive downloaded a uk map off oziexplorer website which consists of 2 files. A .ozf2 and a .map file. Ive put a copy of both of these files in the programs' "maps" folder in media files/documents/mapviewgps/maps folder in both c: and d: drives but when i select "detect map" in MapViewGPS" it says "map not found"

Anyone??????

Yes it is compatible with Ozi exept it use an other image-format. you must export the map from Ozi to an imageformat like BMP and then use "img2ogf.exe". you will find the software at http://www.wild-mobile.com/

If you have any other question you will find your answer at http://my-symbian.com in the forum and look for UIQ and topic MapViewGPS.

There you will find the creator of this app, Oleg, and me, Rigel, the translator of the Swedish menus.

Se you at my-symbian.

Hope you get it to work.

/Rigel
