...not a duplicate. I have been purcahing SE phone since the t68i came out. i was always satisfied with SE phones. I have a little delima, when the P800 came out i spent about 900$ to purchase it, while i was VERY happy with it, i was a bit disapointed with its size, screen resolution, etc... i ended up selling it for 600$ before SE started selling it in the US. Now i have been contemplating the IDEA of getting the P910i. everyday, i try to resist the urge of getting it, while i can get it for a sweet deal (550), my brain is kinda stopping me from doing it.
my question to people now is how many of you have owned the P800 when "it just came out" and have been using the P910 i now?
is it worth it? or should i just keep my good old K700i?
i know i need to buy a new phone, i cannot have the same fone for more than 3-4 months
is the P910 i any better than the P800? or is the looks the only better thing about it?

please share any comment...
thanks you guys

The P910i is the same phone as the P800, it just supports more of everything.

More colour depth, more memory, more expandable memory etc..

If it were me, i wouldnt bother since the next P series phone is due out towards the end of this year, or early next year. Probably.

If you really want another UIQ phone, you could always try the Motorola A1000, or the NEW A1010.

Check em out, being 3G, and on the 3 network, they're quite cheap too.

from what you have said i believe that you would be very happy with a p910. although technology wise it is a very similar phone, with the only major hardware differences being better screen, more memory and the hardware flip - these small differences do make the phone alot better.

i went from p800 to p900 (which i still have) and although function wise the phones are almost identical - features such as T9 txt imput and better screen (i mean 4000 colours just isn't enough - my t610 had more) made the phone worth the money (actually i got it free from O2 but still ).

many people on this forum class the p800 as a prototype for the p900 and i agree - lots of small improvements makes for a big improvement.

I still use my P800 since I think the changes from P800 to P910i is not worth another $8-900 dollars. But if I find a great deal with Vodafone, like $0 dollars and brand it for 24 months I'm in. Unbranded is way to expensive for me to change. Especially since I need a handheld now.. like HP Ipaq hx4700. Just don't got the cash for it all *sighs*

Well, here's my opinion. I have used a close friend's p800 regularly. And then i went and bought the p910 for myself. And the p910 is definitely a more comprehensive machine. Much more impressive and useful functionality wise. Size may be bulky but if used to it's potential it's a gem of a multimedia/power office user's phone. Poor Battery life, however, is an issue to deal with. Nevertheless, i'd say go with the p910. Worth it. This message was posted from a T610
