hi, i am getting a new laptp in the following weeks but i want to know 1 thing, i have broadband internet on my desktop pc if i get 2 usb bluetooth dongles have 1 in the pc and 1 in the laptop, can i share the internet connection like that?

If the pc has ethernet just by a cross over cable and connect them via that, alltho i must say good luck on ICS on winxp its as tuff as old boots, and dont even consider it if ur using AOL

wifi is great i just recently got an apple powerbook
i bought a netgear dg834g modem/router and a netgear wg111 usb adapter for my desktop pc and my house is now wifi
i can use my laptop all over the house
the modem/adapter cost me just over £100 and was easy to setup, and i havent lost a connection once (touch wood)
try amazon, there pretty cheap

If using winxp sp2 then difficult. If not install wireless lan over bluetooth using its drivers.
