Had a intresting experiance today. Was on the train and listening to music on my 512mb San Disk duo pro through ogg player. I paused the trasck and decided to put in my other 512 Duo pro which had a movie on I thought i'd watch a movie. Switched the card and straight away Ogg flashed up the cannot open file error message you get all the time when the track is not on file.
Any how closed ogg went in to smartmovie and my movie list was empthy strange i thought so i rfreshed the list and had nothing come up?! strange Was watching the film earler this morning. Then went to file viewer and the Disk Corrupt sign appears.
Not to worry I thought seen it before remove card and reinsert should solve the problem. Oh f**k did not work maybe will need to do a reformat via the phone. Nothing new done it a few times. Tried it and bang cant reformat just get disk corrupt message

. Ok then lets whack it iny my lap top and do the good old windows reformat.
Tried it card wouldnt even load or be recognised what the f**k so this is one of thos situations where you need to get san disk to replace the card. Thought not much of it begun listening to music again. The duo pro still in my lap top. About 20 minutes later i could smell melting plastic!?
I realised it was coming from the MS adapter pulled it out and the duo pro had gone soft and stunk of melting plastic a gently pulled it out the adpter and it had melted the bloody thing had melted! What the f**k is going on?! What technical reason can cause this the stick had not been physically damaged?!
Has this happened to any one else? Sorry for the long post.

It is unusual. Even if there was a short circuit inside the card, the voltage and current there shouldnt be enough to melt the card.

That is why I only use Sony ms duos. Highest reliability.
Maybe it did not like that you paused the track and went bonkers.
