Anyone here knows how to tweak the t68i so that it can retrieve emails and send it also? I use a GPRS connection and my SP is Globe telecom (Philippines). I wanted to retrieve my Email from "Yahoo" and if possible "hotmail". Thanks.

there are plenty of "howto's" to configure e-mail settings here at Esato, just use the search function.

Unless your service provider has barred Yahoo!'s POP and SMTP servers, you can send and receive from your Yahoo! email account if you have enabled POP for it (see Yahoo! Help for this). When you enable POP, Yahoo! will show you the POP and SMTP settings for your account (differs between countries). Just enter in those details.
Hotmail does not offer POP or IMAP access so you will not beable to receive Hotmail on your phone's email client.

Thanks guys. But I felt sorry for people like me who believes that information especially through electronic communication should be free. Yahoo needs a lot of money this time around.
And I Quote:
"Yahoo! Mail no longer provides free POP3 Access or Auto Mail Forwarding to Yahoo! Delivers subscribers."
Meaning "give us money and we'll give you your mail". I wonder what Cuba Gooding Jr. would say to this.... hmm.

Note that there is an internal conflict between Yahoo! U.S. and many of it's localities regarding charging for POP/SMTP. The U.S. charges the @yahoo.com users for this, but many countries like yahoo.co.uk do no (as yet) charge.
It's also true that POP/SMTP was not available when they first offered their email service, this is only a recent addition in the last few years.

this is true that both yahoo and hotmail do not allow for pop access. However you can go the long way and go thru the wap browser. not exactly what you were looking for but it will work. most corporate emails do support the push and pull access.
