Has anyone sucessfully installed the latest version (3.0) of Quickoffice on a P910? How does it deal with the built in version

and

Is it any better particularly Quickword.

Thanks

Yes I have it on my P910. Working like a charm. It's much better than older versions. This message was posted from a P910

Thanks!

Did you just install it over the old version?

You may buy it from My Symbian:

There doesn't appear to be an upgrade price for those of us whose phones came with an earlier version -- looks like you have to pay for the full version, which I don't think's on.

And what if I decide not to buy regardless after my 15 day trial? Since my earlier version has been overwritten now, and is not available on CD (was pre-installed), I could be stuffed!

Nice to see tables are now supported in Quickword (tho you can't create them, just view them in existing docs) -- finally makes the app useful to me! (Tho annoyingly forces a fit-to-screen, rather than give you the option of horizontal scroll like the PDF viewer does.)

And yes, as an earlier poster said, you need to restart the phone after installation (at least I had to on my P910i), though you're never prompted to do this.

Oh, and Quickpoint crashed when I tried to load the example slideshow!
