> Very strange problem, k700i
Bookmark topic
Me and my friend both have k700i's.
I have a USB cable and he does not so I download pictures off the internet and send them to my phone and then bluetooth them to his phone.
I always put 176x176 pictures onto my phone so I can use them as wallpapers and because they fit perfectly. For some reason, when I send a picture to his phone, his phone automatically resizes the picture to 160x120 and it looks very messed up and squashed. The picture is fine on my phone but when it is on his phone it's all squashed. When he edits the picture, it is all squashed.
Why is this happening and how can we make his phone normal again? We've checked the manual and can't find anything.

Also when he sends the picture back, it is squashed on my phone.
We are both locked on Orange, my phone has orange logos on the front and Orange World on the side and his says QuickShare on the front and something else on the side.
Help please!

Hmmm...peculiar problem indeed...why dont you try downloading pics directly to his phone by your blue tooth instead of you sending it

Buy yourself a Bluetooth dongle for the PC, they're only about £10-£20 off Ebay or from computer stores, they simply plug into a free USB port on your PC.

Yeah but it's not really nessicary, he just want his phone to be able to display pictures that I send him properly. I think that this is a technical fault or something, but it was bought off eBay a week ago so I don't know if it can be sent back and replaced.
Does anybody have any idea why the phone is resizing the pictures from 176x176 to 160x120?

Does the resize happen when you use infrared instead of Bluetooth between phones?

@shady - If your friend's fone is still under warranty have it replaced mate. Good Luck! What I know is that only Esato.com resizes the images being upoloaded in it's database
