hey guys. can anyone please help me here? every time i go into control panel and then choose sounds and alerts, it closes with an error and says
program closed
program: control panel
reason code: qikon-panic
reason number: 12
i have no idea what any of that means but i already tried reseting the phone. i dont want to firmware update just because of this. anyone have any suggestions??

You don't have that ROB1 theme installed do you? I had the same problem when going to change the sounds through the Control Panel with this theme installed. As soon as I changed to a different one, problem gone!
Bit odd for an official Sony Ericsson theme!

I never experienced a freeze of control panel, but I did (and do) sometimes experience odd behaviour of the sounds/alerts applet when I start up my phone in flight mode: the control panel greys out and the s/a applet never comes up. Turning on the phone part has always cleared things up. Invoking s/a settings from the volume control in the status bar has the same effect.
FYI: mine is a de-Oranged P910i.

wow. that is ridiculous for an SE theme. as soon as i changed it everything is better. i never thought to have blamed a theme for control panel to crash. thank you.
