Hiya.
i just deleted my ipod playlist and its actually deleted all my mp3s!
now some of them were in my recycle bin and ive restored them but thats like 4 gb of a 50 gb collection!!!
ive done a restore system and it hasnt put them back, any ideas folks??
PLEASE PLEASE! IM DESPERATE!

The free version only finds stuff, it won't restore it.
Hope to god that it can recover at least some of your stuff.
The main problem is, the more you use your PC from now on, the more chance there is of the deleted data getting overwritten and therefore pretty much gone for good.
There's other undelete apps out there, but AFAIK you have to buy them to get even half decent functionality out of them.
And I don't want to rub salt into the wound, but the system restore was a very bad move. It involves a lot of hard drive activity which means that the hard disk space that was marked for overwriting by deleting the mp3's could easily have been used, making data recovery much more unlikely to be successful
