I'm trying to get a network connection between two PC's.
I start to connect but it want's me to type a username and password to connect with.
I've tried both empty fields and the username I log with to the other computer but it always gets disconnected
Do I need any software on the computer I'm trying to connect to?
I'm using Windows XP Home on the laptop and XP Pro on the stationary computer.

Looks like it's a Windows networking problem.
It "gets disconnected" as in BT gets disconnected, or you were not able to log on? Configured the firewall to allow LAN traffic?
