I would like to know from knowledgeable members if there is any software, with which one can compose one’s sms on laptop, and than transfer it to P910i for sending.
Secondly, what causes white screen on P910i.I don’t have any extra software loaded on my cell phone, other than what came preloaded on to it, but still when handling two calls at one go, screen goes white, and phone has to be restarted to restore original screen.
Thirdly, I have been using Palm m130 for my email and contacts. How many contacts can P910i store. I have around ten thousand contacts. Would transferring all of them to P910i ,slow it down.
I shall be grateful for an early response to above three queries.

At 10,000 contacts I think you start worrying about the space they use, let alone whether you can manage them.

And I'm telling you now - the contacts file is only *one* file: contacts.cdb. For about 10,000 records you *really-really* need some indexing of the information. This means a proper database software. Somehow I have some serious doubts
that your Palm is able to juggle said info.

Unless, of course, you were off by an order of magnitude, and you really meant "ten hundred contacts"

Say, are you working for Yellow Pages, by any chance?

Man i don't think you should even attempt to send 10,000 contacts to your phone. I dont think SE even employs that many people, let alone providing a phonebook which would hold that many numbers.. but in case u do try and it works.. let us know...

I currently have about 800 contacts. I don't think there is a limit to the number of contacts that can be stored. Only the memory may limit it. But 10,000? I dunno... This message was posted from a T610

Buddy, you mention something about a with/blank screen. It looks like your phone is 'crashing' . Try to have the firmware 'flashed' and see if the problem persists. This message was posted from a Nokia 7650
