This night i've spent 2 hours to put a protective skin on my S700i that is almost invisible. Because i've known from S700 users that the phone will get scraches or paint damage anyway after a few months.

The tools i've used: a precision knife, a firelighter and plastic paper to plastify books.

Steps: Just put platic paper on your phone and make it's very smooth, cut the details with the knife e.g. speaker, display, camera, etc.. Then warm up the plastic with a firelighter so that the plastic sticks nicely to the phone.

Advantages:
-the phone will always stay scratchfree/dustfree(!) no matter how long you carry it arround. even when you drop it, put it in your pocket with your keys or coins, etc.. it stays new!
i remember my old t610.. after 3 years of normal use it looks so old and ugly, ful of scratches
-if the plastic doesn't look good anymore, you can remove it easily and your phone looks new to!
-the whole phone feels good too, as it feels just like te original phone cover
-hard to see that the phone is covered unless you look really close like i did while taking the pics

I know on the pics the phone looks duff, but in real it's hard to see the difference. I showed the phone to my collegues and they had to look twice to see that there was a plastic skin on it

Is that sticky back plastic?...if it is then you will find that over time,a period of a couple of months or so when you try to remove the plastic the glue from the plastic will stay stuck to the phone..I would'nt recommend it buddy!

You still have to remove it now before you ruin your phone.

Besides the fact that it might ruin the actual paint job of the phone in the long run, it looks awful. Good effort though.

It won't stick after all , i allready done it on a 8250 from nokia, a white one. For some reason, plastic to covers books is special that when you remove it the underground stays clean.
I did it with the 8250 in the year 2002. When i removed the plastic a few months ago, i serprised me that the phone looked brand new without me having to clean it!

Yeah ok, your phone wont get scratched and look like shit, in two years, but ure sacrificing its aesthetics now, it looks like shit in the present, but wont in the future.

It doesn't look that good, ok... when you stare at the phone only a few cm's from it! But i guess only geeks look at the phone holding it just in front of the eyes.
When you use it as a normal person, holding it in your hand for at least 50 cm of your eyes then the difference can't be noticed. So the esthetical part of the phone stays as it is.

It's like a nice girl : When you see the girl on the street, she looks so fine! You go out with her, she still looks fine, but then the moment when you play games with her and you really look closer to her face, then you notice she isn't 'that' as beautifull as you thought she were.

Don't know about you, but anytime i date a girl, i see more and more default after a while. But i doesn't really bother me. Cuz no one is perfect.

Just look at the latest pics, then judge..
