Just wanted to know if the P910i only vibrates in Silent Mode, when silent mode is off it does not vibrate.

When you received your P910i, didn't it come with a user's manual? If it did not, you can download a PDF copy from the support page of Sony Ericsson.
Most of the things that you should know about your phone are in that manual.
