THIS IS A FORUM ABOUT WARID COM WHICH IS STARTING FROM 12 MAY 2005, IF ANYONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT AL-WARID OR TERRIF THEN FEEL FREE TO PLACE YOUR POSTS OR ANY COMMENTS HERE.....
YOU CAN ALSO COMPARE TELENOR SERVICES WITH UPCOMING WARID HERE.....
I am newly registered, I have read today that WARID is starting its services in all planned cities from 12 May, 2005 and its website is

Al-Warid Telecom...... From an inbound source I happened to get the rates of Al-Warid Telecom Mobile service. *The rates may change as they are not yet finalized.
Outgoing Rs. 2.5/min
Incoming Free
SMS Free
MSM & GPRS Rate not confirmed yet
Re-Charge
Amounts not finalized BUT there would be no limited of usage.

It is learnt through market sources but not confirmed, it is expected that Warid telecom will give free SMS, Rs 2.5 per minute call anywhere in Pakistan including all taxes. Just Rs 300 sim include Rs 250 balance and no 15 days expiry date like Telenor and free home delivery. The most important it will give free calling time during Saturday and Sunday late nights.
