I used the Ericsson Wap configurator to set up Wap but I still can't access it. When it dials out all I get is a failed message. My network is O2 UK
What am I doing wrong?

the best way to correct the infamouse "wap" problem for new users is to contact your SP (O2, Orange UK, etc) and ask them to guide you through the setup process. This takes a few minutes to do. Once the gateway and IP has been keyed in, try it then and there inorder to address any new problems. Though its a new technology, it should be stable enough for consumers to enjoy and use with out the hassel.
I had the same problem when I first configured my phone. The damn instruction were a bit complicated for me. Thus, I ended up blotching the whole process. My best advise is to do this process with a "live" SP operator or representative.
If you've done all of the above and still experience the same problems, use the "consumer rights" tactic and threaten to sue the crap out of your SP for fraud! he he
ps - don't forget to get the full use of your new t68i - get the GPRS option when you subscribe for the WAP!

i dont think you are having problems with your phone. it is your network that has problems

you should complain so they could improve their service. after all, you pay them for it!

I think you'll find this is easier said than done... especially if you're with the likes of Singlepoint4U for O2 talktime. Bloody nightmare.
