I just upgraded my p900 firmware to the latest to try and fix a blue tooth and a Messages error i been having and the firmware upgrade has locked my phone back to orange.

How can i get it unlocked so that firmware doesnt lock it again ? is it possible ?

I dont want to repeatedly pay each upgrade, co incidentally the firmware didnt fix the messages nor bluetooth errors.

If i get the phone unbranded via firmware will that remove the providor and sim locks as well so that firmware upgrades wont lock it up ?

It's because SE web does the update based on the CDA number u got inside the firmware

CDA number located next to the name of firmware..

say R4A006_CDA2004XXXXXX

In order to have a sucessful update, you must flash a firmware files with generic CDA number

so far, all my customer do not have problem in updating firmware with SE web
