Well here's the deal, to fix some message errors and bluetooth issues, i did a firmware upgrade on the SE Website, unknown to me that this would Lock my sim locks!
I didnt think th software affected that, however it did.
Now i searched the forums and found no applicable information, so i called the Carphone Warehouse in Manchester who tell me they use a "Standard Firmware" i assume this means Unbranded and Open Network and costs £30 but he was unable to tell me if this would leave the Sim Locks Open, or if my phone would be orange branded. Does anyone know if ALL firmware upgrades will reset the sim locks ?
But IF this is unbranded unlocked firmware it maybe useful to other people.
Any advice ?

i had the same mines was on orange but i had it unlocked but when i upgraded it via the se site they were locked again,
i just got mine unlocked again
