Anyone tried using the DCU-10 (USB) cable with WindowsXP? Couldn't find any drivers for XP on Sony Ericssons site.

Just use the drivers on the CD.
They are not signed, but work fine.
The USB cable emulates a serial cable (a bit disapointing eh?), so you need to enabe this port in th Ericssons "Phone Monitor Options" available from the control panel.
It will probably be COM3 or COM4, and it will probably be disabled by default (don't know why).
If you want, you can check the actual COM port in Device manager, look under ports.

Hi I am also having problems with my dcu-10 and xp can anyone guide me a stp by step process?. I manage to get it running for like half a day and then suddenly it wouldnt connect anymore. I tried uninstalling everything and installing it back but it still will not connect
oh yeah when i plug the dcu-10 it says usb device not recognized
please help me!

I also using XP and its takes about 30 second before the software recongnize your phone.
But the Phone Book and Text Message Manager won't work. Also give an run time error.
SE Support is trying to fignure out there is the problem.
