It doesn't work in South Africa, I tried it on DVD, TV, VHS. Maybe it works on other brands.

Hi,
I'm also searching for another app like psiLock Ir-Remote for P800.
Problem is: I want to use it with a cyberhome DVB-T Receiver and I can't find anywhere a file with codes to programm the app.
Therefor I need an app, which can learn the Irda-commands direct.
I know, that I used once on PPC an Irda-Remote app which was able to learn the comands from the original remote.
But I haven't found such a function in total Ir-Remote. It seems that I can program Total-IR-Remote, but just manual and not direct with the original remote.
Any ideas or help?

Have you tried the specific Philips Pronto and Linux Lirc format codes? You can follow the links on this Psiloc page...
http://www.psiloc.com/index.html?id=143 I found my Philips TV worked fine with the Pronto codes downloaded!
Cheers

Yes I have tried but there are only DVD files. I need a file for CH-DVT 1010.

Does your TV have built in Bluetooth??

Then you dont need an app to control it, do you...unfortunately,other than that option, there's only IR

@maro: We are both not searching for an alternate possibility to controll the TV/DVD/DVB-T than Ir-Remote.
We're just searching for an alternste application than PsiLoc IrRemote or Total IrRemote!
