There have been many threads about this, and i thought i needed to contribute a BIG thread to esato, so here is all the information you need to decide whether to buy nokia 6230 or
k700i (btw i have hand cramp so might be some mistakes
)

Ok, thats the specifications out the way, so next we'll look at different features you want from the phone to help you decide which out of the two you want.

nokia 6230
Design: The k700 has to be the winner here, as it has a nice, small design with a digital camera back. Its brushed aluminium finish has given it a nice finish.The paint does come off quite easy though, as mine has been through alot of knocks itself, but in full working order.
The 6230 has a nice black colour, but is quite big. The different coloured lights ( may be just the buttons that make them different colours) are good.
Camera:
Both cameras are 0.3megapixels but k700 has zoom. Also the k700 has flash
Calling:
6230 is the winner, as k700 has a sharp edge, but k700 has good signal.
Mp3:
k700 as it has a good speaker

anyway, as with the T610 vs T630 comparison thread started today where we have at least 30 other similar threads we also have many many K700 vs 6230 thread as you can see from this
initial search and there are more than that too!
although its the lull before the storm of new phones hits us lets not keep creating threads on topics we already have many many about as there is no need to keep repeating this stuff over and over
in any case the 6230 has been superceeded by the 6230i (and yes, we have threads comparing the 6230i and the K700 too)
