after using oggplayer for a while, i was impressed by the quality/compression ratio, very nice, only problem is the voulme, anyway,

my point,

is it not possible to un-officaly update the music player by clever programming?

i mean completely re-write the programme and keep the same layout, but add support for codecs and addons, so instead of loads of 3rd party apps (one per music file type) we could just update "Our" music player, with add-ons and codecs (much like the ever-so succssfull windows lol )

and then delvopment could go solely into producing add-ons and codecs, speeding up devlopment (as software would not have to written) and allowing us to enjoy of music player a lot more

anyway just an idea, post your comments

check out PowerMP3, its an mp3 and ogg player, very nice!

you cant do anything with the interal mp3 player I am afraid of! If you want to do something and fix it up, you need to edit the firmware, and editing the firmware is out of my and most of us knowledge.

but you should be able to fix the OggPlay a bit up! the source code is available on symbianoggplay.sf.net I'm in on any changes! would like to see some changed version of this great app!
