People getting very uppity about these FS: threads. Odd, since you have 12 posts...

This is a DISCUSSION forum - people are free to comment on these threads just as they are elsewhere, providing it does not break the Forum Rules.

Anyway, I have a "sales" question:

What qualifies these as gold numbers? Does it say so on the sim pack? I didn't think T-Mobile even sold "Gold" numbers, certainly not on PAYG. Or is it simply that you think they are good?

@Dave_Uk . People are entitled to there comment! But it was not a comment? he was trying to detroy my sale thread.

Ok I will make it easier - If you selling P910i for £100.00 for example and then somebody comes into the thread and says " hEY mAN i CAN get 1 for £50.00" - what do you think will happen then?

Check out these numbers on ebay going for thousands of pounds on all networks.

No need to make it easier - thanks. My intellect is more than capable of following your point. However, it is absolutely untrue that your thread was being destroyed (although it may be now); it was one solitary harmless comment about another number. How that compares to your example I fail to see.

Either way, I am all for the kind of posting you describe as destructive. This is an online community where people (usually) help each other. Competition is in the interests of the consumer, and I see no reason why we should not alert each other to overpriced items etc. That is how fraud is generally foiled as well. The bottom line is that if you don't want discussion on items you are selling, you should visit the link to which you directed me. That is what ebay is for.

Thanks for the link, but I believe that anyone who pays vast sums of money for a mobile number has too much money. Unfortunately, I don't!

Most of these numbers (on your link) seem to be going for around a tenner actually. Not that that in any way answers my question. Why are these numbers "Gold" numbers? Or are you simply claiming that they are?

My congratulations to you. However, whilst that clearly would be classified as "Gold" by the networks that use such a system, the numbers that you have listed for sale here are not quite in the same category, now are they?!

Please don't get me wrong - I actually have no wish to ruin your thread. But I do believe that people are entitled to post freely (within reason) and that doing so on the market threads helps everyone get a better deal. It is based on an economic principle known as perfect information. The only reason to disagree with that is if you are trying to misrepresent, scam people, or overprice your items. You will also see people write "good price" or "great bargain" on threads where the goods offered are particularly good value. And I'm sure you're not doing that, so there's no problem
