Hi.
I've looked through the various posts that loosely fit this issue, but I still can't get the damn thing to work.
In November 2004, I was using my p910i daily to send/receive email with no problems on a vodafone contract.
Around this time, I had cause to change my phone number which vodafone did 'over the air', meaning I kept the same sim, and just had to switch my phone off for an hour for the new number to take effect.
Since having the new number activated I have been totally unable to access my emails via the p910i, and i'm tearing my hair out.
My phone is GPRS enabled, and I can access WAP pages, as well as full internet pages through my account, but when it comes to accessing my emails, the globe pulses at the bottom of the screen for a few seconds, then it says activation rejected, every single time.

After speaking to vodafone, they have confirmed that my phone is fully GPRS enabled, and I've confirmed with them that I'm using the correct APN for accessing my emails. (the address is 'internet')
As I say, I'm using this same account for accessing the full internet as well as WAP pages without any hassle, but I can't get my head round it.
Vodafone CC have advised me to take it into a Vodafone store so they can test my SIM in another P910i, but was just wondering if i'm doing something glaringly obviously wrong before I do.
It just seems a bit suspicious to me that it all stopped working since I changed phone numbers.!

Many Many thanks in advance

Hi Welcome to esato.

Not sure about that but it always worth taking it into a service centre to have it checked.
Maybe someone else has had this problem here....

get voda to remove GRPS and the re apply it to your acc,

and you actually need GPRS like de-provisioning and then re-provisiong, itll take 48ish to complete but that should be it!
