Hi all,
I've been struggling alot recently with Sony Ericsson to provide me with instruction how to sync e-mails directly with our Exchange 2003 servers. Our admins have it locked down pretty tightly and is only allowing IMAPS or Secure IMAP connection.

I can now report safely that it does not work with the Symbian OS Px00 client, it has a really weird behaviour and SE is not doing anything to provide us with ActiveSync (yet).

What works:
ProfiMail 2.24!!

This little gem was not hard to set up, it just worked immediately!

do you have to open the program to check your emails, or can you automatically set it to check at certain intervals?

MailX may be your answer. UIQ version should be in beta pretty soon and bitween is currently seeking for beta testers @ my-symbian.
