> Why do no games use the QWERTY keyboard?

Anyone?
Instead they use "virtual" buttons on screen which don't work or unwieldy combinations of the data wheel etc.
Why can't they use the qwerty board?

its because the game are built mainly for the p800 & p900 which doesnt support it

no p910 specific games have been released yet

Er...how about the fact that the QWERTY keyboard is crap, barely usable for text, never mind gameplay?!

@dave_uk
Personally, I find the keypad very, very usable

It really is a matter of personal preference, I think.
I haven't played with the SDK for the P910, but I would imagine that if the p910 apps that come with the phone can use the keypad, third-party apps and therefore games should be able to as well.
I think the previous poster might be right, these games are developed to be compatible with all three P series phones.

@Cycovision
Fair play - I guess it is a matter of preference. I have always found myself reaching for my stylus, partly out of habit formed with the P800 and P900, but I appreciate that some users may find it usable. I presume you have microscopic fingers!
I would think, though, that perhaps the developers don't think it is as good an idea to use for gaming, as surely there would be apps that utilise it (new applications, since the P910i's release, have made modifications, where appropriate, for specialist P910i features). Having said that, why reduce the market for your apps by making them compatible with only one handset. Therein probably does lie the answer.
@Rocky B.

So true - I am so sick of these jokers that jump on the bandwagon of criticising software developers, or at least those that don't understand the difference between constructive criticism and utter stupidity!
