Haha mine's completely clean, and has only crashed once. That was about 1 year ago when I installed Nvidia drivers on my ATI machine, and tried to run Star-Wars Pod racer .

I guess mac is stupid-proof. Oh and before you say anything, I got the right drivers for my mate's machine which I was fixing, a little tipsy, at 3am. So I have an excuse.

My boss has a 17" PowerBook, it's a couple of years old now but is still going great. It runs Mac OS X beautifully, hasn't had any problems and we frequently run full conferences/presentations and do video editing on it. Compared with PC laptops they look great, work reliably, you don't need to install drivers for printers, digital cameras, mobile phones etc. to work. And you don't need a masters degree in IT support to keep them running.

@nickorooster & davo_169: Thanks for your answers to the original posters question, I'm sure your remarks have really helped enlighten him.

Hey hey hey! I did post some relevant info! Namely, that if you're not stupid (or drunk/tired), a PC (running XP no less) won't crash!

i would have to disagree (another mac versus pc thread)

i had loads of anti virus and anti adaware programs etc etc everything that i should have and it still crashed

maybe it was just my crappy tiny desktop and not all pc's are that bad

but thats just my experience
