@Manish: A UMD won't cost much more then a blank DVD-R. Its 1.8 gb, Imagne buying a 1.8 GB MSD.

And now, be creative, think of other ways you'd be saving money.

UMD or universal media disks are a sony proprietry disk format which is currently supported only by the sony psp but future applications include sony umd walkmans and umd video players. Lots of big studios have already promised the release of their movies on umd's. In fact spider man2 is already out on umd.
