Hi. I find the internal memory of p900 very small. Can I expand it? If not, can I just store my mms/sms and contacts in the external mms card?
Which SE phone has a huge internal memory? Am planning to buy a new one soon.
thanks lots for helping me.

p900 internal memory is non expandable (im almost certain) - the p910i has a rather large 64mb (more than ample) internal memory ...

The internal mem is non expandable. So you are limited on how many apps you can run at the same time. That is where sman comes in. Opera for example takes a lot of ram. However, you can store as much as you want on the msd.

I hope people realize there's a difference between the P900's storage memory (16mb, available ~9mb) and application RAM (also 16mb, system and phone takes half at launch.)
Here's where the P910 is a real improvement. It has 64mb for storage and, more importantl, 32mb RAM
All this info is readily available and can be checked using the simple, yet indispensable, TaskMan. As mentioned above, Opera is a RAM hog that shuts down background apps as it needs all available RAM, not much on a P900!
It's all about RAM, folks.

Well put Symbatico.
I just wish there was a way to get some more RAM for my p900

.
Im actually getting some more RAM for my PC this week (another 512mb of DDR 3200) to bring it up to 1024mb. I am hoping to see a noteable difference in everyday speed (not just games etc).

Nick I had a RAM usage monitor on my PC - I did have 700 & whatever MB but the RAM used never got over about 1/3 - 1/2 of total so when I needed the 256 Stick for another machine there was no problem...
Don't use it for games though... PS2 is best for that

- Having said that I've only used that about3 times... Keeps the kids quiet though
