I am sure this has been answered time and time again, but I am still trying to find an easier way. I want to unlock my T68I so I can use in in the UK when I travel. I talked with AT&T and there best suggestion was to roam on with there bend me over agreements. What are my options and what is the best thing for me to do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when u say unlocked phone, it means u can use it on any network. gsm, tdma, cdma etc etc. u can use your at&t phone on any gsm network when u get it unlocked. prepaid cards can easily be bought in europe. just get your phone unlocked.

Does unlocked REALLY mean that one can use a GSM unit on CDMA and TDMA aswell ?

NO, where did you get that idea? AT&T GSM phones are locked and to use another SIM card in them they must be unlocked. Unlocking a TDMA PHONE OR A CDMA phone is much easier. I am looking to unlock a T68I from AT&T. I need suggestions.

Go to http://www.logosunlimited.co.uk

I unlocked both my T68 and T68i with their method. Its real easy and fast. Cost me 22 dollars each. Make sure you look in your service menu (

Actually the problem was that people like me would go into the menu of the phone and try to input any old number and that would kill the "try " that the phone would have. People didn't really know that At&T phones only had 1 unlock try. So with me, my first try didn't work like they say on their web site, but not because of them because I had no tries left on my phone. I since then got 2 replacement phones both with "NCK 1" and I unlocked both with logosunlimited.

As long as you see "NCK 1" in you service menu you should be fine.

Just remember that once you get the numbers from them, that you input them in carefully!! You only get 1 try!!

Just checked........NCK is the option I have. Should I try and get another phone? What did YOU tell them to get other phones?

When you see the NCK do you see a number "1" after that?

If you do then your ok, you'll ONE chance to unlock the phone.

If you see "0" then you need to get another phone. If your still under 30 days from original date of purchase, then just take it back and give them some BS story that your having problems with the internet. Make sure you get a new phone and while your in the store quickly check the hidden menu to see if the new phone says " NCK 1".

Good luck.
I know your pain!
