Hey is dere any system by which u can make ur mobile set, if stolen, stop workin. He dere is any, is it only limited to a region, or it covers d whole world

There already is a feature. You just call up your operator and report the phone stolen and they will put a 'barr' on the phone so it is now 'barred' and will not work anywhere in the country.

the system is called blacklisting and if a handset is blacklisted it will not wotk with any sim card in the country its been barred in...
yet as somebody has pointed out what if you take it abroad! it will work.
whoever it is that deals with the blacklist is as far as im aware looking to make a worldwide system. to stop the above loophole working.
as to when and if that come true i do not know.
