hi, does anybody know how i can build a website like ign,gamespot or a news website quite easily?

Have a look at nickorooster.com for an example, there are many cool themes available, and tonnes of plugins too.

yea phpnukes are easy to use and really good, i had one but hosting went down so never got it back up

Be very wary about sites that say 'unlimited' hosting. It generally means that if you go over a certain limit they'll kick you off.

Unlimited in this context means 'We don't expect you to use very much'

PHP-Nuke really IS good.

But to make it easy to install, ask for Fantastico on your hosting, that will set it all up for you. Trust me, its MUCH easier and quicker.
