Hello, I was wondering, is there a way to change the aparience of the Virtual keypad?, I have a P800 which I use without the keyboard and really would like to change to the P900 virtual keypad aparience, could that be possible?

Anybody knows where is stored the image of the P800 virtual keypad or perhaps there is an application?

Thanks in advance and congrats for the forum, excuse my english.

I don't think you can change the built-in one, as it'll be stored in ROM. There are a couple of applications you can get though:

EziTap FEP is a virtual keyboard replacement that looks very similar, but provides word-prediction:

(or find it at My-Symbian)

Pop-on-top is a customisable virtual keyboard that has a variety of different layouts, including a full-screen one that's possible to use with your thumbs. Personally I think it's lacking a few improvements that make it truly usable, but the makers haven't responded to my comments. You might like it though. They also do a see-through one:

I think EziTap is great, but my question is about the aparience (the look!), I know that the image of the virtual keyboard is in rom, but perhaps there's a app that catch and replace the keyboard look in standby.?

Pop-on-top Keyboard has the looks, and it's customizable ... but it's not functional as it does not blend with the OS. I've tried it and even made a custom keyboard myself, but I've found it to be too disfunction al. Also, it maps a key for itself that can not be customize.

I hope someone could pick up where Pop-on-top Keyboard left and created a better application.

Me too. It was very promising. Just needs some refinement.
