Hi I recently purchased a 1GB memory stick pro duo and am using it with no problem in my p905 (works absolutely fine). However, in my memory card reader on my pc it is not detected now (all of a sudden) even though it was working perfectly last week. Please can anybody advise me on what the problems could be. I am not sure but does anybody reckon it needs to be formatted again? thanks in advance

If your phone is detecting it fine...then there seems to be no problem with the card...possibly something to do with the card reader

It might be a problem with the cardreader's drivers. I've had the weirdest results with mine: on one Windows 2000 pc it refused to recognize memory sticks unless the drivers were installed from the cd; on another Windows 2000 pc, just plugging in the cardreader was sufficient for memorysticks to be accepted. SuSE 9.2 Linux just popped a few icons on the desktop and away we went...

I've just received a SanDisk 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro. It works fine in my P905, but my ByteStor 8in1 Reader doesn't recognise it.

Can anyone recommend a card reader that definitely supports 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro?

I have a Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 15-in-1 Media Reader & Writer and it works perfect with my Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo 1GB. 220MB took 35 seconds from PC to the stick in the card reader.
