The Nokia Concept Lounge, a space where ideas and thoughts on future concepts are shared. Such as these three projects from members of the Nokia concept team:

The Zond - How to enhance the experience of visual communication. Being virtually present. How about going to the post office or the bank without actually having to walk over there. The answer is the Zond.

Sky - Seamless access to personal information now, in one device.

Strap it - High tech sign language or a mini Times Square. About talking without speaking and vice versa.

And Nokia wants to hear from you.

Test the future.The nokia designers are ready for your visions.If your idea catches the eye, they will turn it into a virtual concept phone.

Challenge Nokia with your visions and plans for the future of mobile communications! Whether you have an idea for teens, business people or even outdoor enthusiasts, challenge us by creating a product design which enables them to communicate with
others in a more efficient way.

You can freely choose the target segment, form factor, materials and technologies as
long as the product is targeted to consumers and the technologies are realisable. Tell us who the product is for, what is unique by it and how it will make the mobile life of your chosen segment easier.

Top prizes will be given to the winners:

1st prize: 1 x 5000€ cash grant plus a trip to Helsinki to meet with the Nokia Design Center for a private tutoring and networking day with Nokia designers.
2nd prize: 1 x 1500€ cash grant
3rd prize: 1 x 500€ cash grant plus a Nokia 7710 smartphone
A special People's Choice award will also be given.
