Hey, I just finished setting up my mobile.att.net email settings with the GSM customer service and they actually answered my questions correctly!!
So, if you need to know what the att servers are here they are.
First you have to access the messages center, then go to email, then options. If you havent already set account, create your account. If you have created your account and it doesnt work, edit account.
Connect Using.... AWS WAP
Protocol............ IMAP4
Incoming Server. imap.attwireless.net
Incoming Port.... 143 (this was preset on mine)
Mailbox............. **this was the myname in "myname@mobile.att.net"**
Password.......... Whatever your Mmode password is
Outgoing Server. smtp.attwirless.net
Outgoing Port.... 25 (again, this was preset on mine)
Email address.... Again, this was "myname@mobile.att.net"
And your done! Feel free to send you pictures!

I gave this a shot, the reply is "wrong mailbox or password". However, the same mailbox and password settings work perfectly when I access my acct. on AT&T's web site. ???

if you go to web services/mMode home/Message Center/e-mail/email options/my e-mail Address it will tell you what your E-mail Address is.
I think once you find out for sure what it is and what your password is, you should be all set. It sounds like you certainly have the server correct since it obviously connects. If you think you are typing in the correct pass and name, I haven't a clue on what to do about it! Just recheck it

Setting up other internet emails is actually a breeze if you know what your servers are. It's pretty much just like setting up Outlook or Outlook express on a windows based pc.
