Hi,
Go to this site

and check the price on upcoming P800!?! If I calculated it wright, 8650 SEK is around 910 EUR! This is going to be a very expensive dream! I wonder if I should rather go for Nokia 7650 (I realy don't like it to much, but it is at least in my price range)!

Well guys, you pay for what you get. Personally I think it's a fair price. You've got to remember that this is a lot more than a mobile phone, it's a video camera, digital photo-camera MP3-player, PDA and a lot more. Try to by all of this as seperate units and I'm quite sure you'll find that the P800 is not that expensive after all. KS

In the article they have just taken the price from the first web shop that has put a price on it. It doesn`t need to be anywhere near the real price. They may have just put a price so that people can start ordering it in advance. The shops always put a high price on the first shipment of phones.
I have a question about the headphone solution for the p800: Does anyone now what kind of plug they will use. I think i have read on the net that they will use the standard ericsson plug, but will there be a way to connect a normal jack to the phone and use another pair of headphones?
I had the Siemens SL45 and the system with a special plug and headphones with built-in handsfree worked good, but I always missed not being able to connect it to things like the home stereo.
It`s the only good thing about the Nokia 5510. There you can use normal small jack and also record on the phone from external sources using a normal jack.

P800 - 749 EUR (they are expecting it by the end of August)
7650 - 689 EUR
With these prices, I really don't understand why anybody would want to buy a 7650.
