ok, i've been askin around a few places, and i cant get a definate answer, but first, let me fill you in.
I received my Vodafone V800 a couple weeks ago, already unlocked, but with crappy Voda branding. so i bought me a T28 cable, and a credit for totalmultiserver.

so halfway through with the flashing, the progam locks up..... dead v800 (not dead, just no firmware).

i try countless amounts of times, but still locks up, now without even starting the flashing process. i try davinci now, but i get "baudrate reswitching failed". i have tried on 4 different computer, 2 of which did NOT have xp with sp2 installed.

ANY help is appreciated, im stuck with a dead v800 right now

If flashing was halfway through then cable was not the problem.

The phone now probably contains a recovery certificate. Flash it with V800 EROM recovery files if you can find them in davinci or TMS support area. Then flash the phone again.

EROM= recovery files???? well, the problem is it went halfway through, the FIRST time, and has never even started on TMS. on Davinci, if i set it to a low speed, it'll get through 5-8% then error message saying lost connection.

Okay, sorry to hear that!
However, normally the tms process should run very smoothly if applied properly.
Make sure you have the LATEST client (currently 1.59!!!) then make sure the phone battery is FULL. Connect the cable properly and get the flash files new from the server. Which firmware are you trying to flash anyways???

You also need to make sure that your internet connection (dsl or similar) is always connceted and working!

Follow the instructions as outlined in the manual of tms and try to flash again.

Hope that helped
