I tried to run EDoom on my P900, but it says no memory.. When i check SMan, it says about 30% (which i guess is free memory).. This is with _Only_ Sman on the list of apps running.. any way to free more memory? this sucks..

Well, its almost _always_ running at 30-35% even right after rebooting..

It would be nice if someone could help me with this issue.. it annoys me a bit.. does really symbian os use 60% of the memory?!

It certainly shouldn't be using 60%
What happens if you tell sman to show hidden tasks, or have you already?
Personally, I think I'd back the phone up then do a master reset and format the 'disk(s)' to see if that makes any difference. Either way, you can restore it afterwards.

Things that are running:
Flipkeypad 48k
Sman 72k
EiksrvBackdrop 496k
Applications 96k
Appicker 64k
Then it has 44%, right after reboot

dont bother, 30% is normal. A fresh formatted, master reset phone with just sman installed will have 35% free.
60% isnt bad considering that your loading an entire OS, which includes a GUI with icons, phone, memory managment and the rest that goes with an OS.
eDoom is intensive. its a game designed for your PC so dont even expect it to run well.

yup..it is advisable to format a used phone before you start off..and check the delete user installed apps box...so you get a fresh phone which you can customize to your liking.
dont worry too much over the memory bit...get a good file manager like Handy explorer..and go through the system folders..there tend to be files left over from previously installed apps which you can delete...avoid using opera unless you really want multiple tabs..its a big RAM eater..and 30 to 35% is pretty normal, as mentioned earlier
