yes thats right-all Nokia 6230i's have been recalled due to a software fault when recievin sms or vms indicators during calls-apparently it makes a really high pitched sound then the call turns to static. all unsold handsets are being recalled and expiring owners will be able to upgrade the hardware as soon as it becomes available-Nokia are unable to give a time scale as yet!

Yeah it's guttin but these things could be expected since the phone was rushed to market to beat the K750i.

Well i have also read about sinc problems over BT and IR the phone just dont wanna conect and some other ishues ... i whas down the shoping center in the morning to pick up my breakfast and i can still see them on shelves of t-mobile and orange ... did not ask do .

I've currently got one for sale and there are no problems with it at all.
Had a play with it and everything works fine.
Bluetooth and camera work fine.
Messages can be sent and recieved with no problems.....
