> DSS-20 connection problems

I've recently bought a DSS-20 from eBay, it did not come with any instructions/installation disk. I managed to download and sucessfully install all the drivers and I have connected my phone to my computer via the sync station using FMA instead of using my DCU-11 USB cable and that worked.
But, when I open the sync station thing, it does not connect. I can never connect to the phone. I right click the little icon in the tray and all I can click on is Exit. Synchronise and Sync Settings are greyed out and cannot be clicked on.
I just want to update my firmware, downloaded all the stuff for updating firmware but the PC could not detect my sync station.
Help please!
