> P800 screen garbage

Hi all...
My P800 started to show garbage on screen even when left alone (both flip open, flip close and virtual flip close). It only goes back to normal if i do any of the following:
- change flip state
- restart phone
any idea what's wrong???

Garbage... not easy to explain, but just imagine a distorted video. The desktop icons and text are distorted. Or perhaps imagine that on if there is a round icon, half of the icon is on the proper position while the other half is on another position on the screen.

You can make a hard reset of the phone If you have a recent backup and them restore all your data ???????
