good day people

i just got a second hand P910i. i was trying the to write some entries to my contact list using the stylus, when i noticed that it does not recognize the english alphabet. when i was breezing thru the control panel the default setting of the phone was in chinese. the "text input" as indicated on the control panel said "chinese handwriting" but there are no other choices other than that. furthermore the keyboard function is also in chinese.

can you help me find a downloadable program that can help me write in normal english fashion? thanks!

pretty weird...perhaps its not a P910i???? P910c is the chinese version of the P910i. Anyway if not mistaken, there should be an icon when you click on the virtual keyboard that let you convert from chinese input to english and vice versa. Good luck...

Btw, how much did you buy that 2nd hand?

welcome to esato

also before you put to much on your phone, do a master reset, (this will make the phone like it is out of the box) it will erase all contacts, etc... but may give the option for english on start-up , it did for me
