Welcome to Esato. You said you have the headset turned on but have you set it to discoverable. To do this you need to keep holding the power button when turning it on until it makes a high pitch beep. It should be found when you do that.

It's not the power button you should be pressing. Hold down both volume buttons for a couple of seconds and you will see the led light start to blink. This means it waiting to be discovered. Then search for the headset with your S700. Thats what I did when I paired my HBH-600 to my S700. This message was posted from a S700

HBH-30 is what I used to have as well. Did the same thing when I first tried to pair my phone with my hbh-600 cos i thought it would be the same procedure. Then i decided to look at the instructions. First time i ever had to do that. This message was posted from a S700

If you can't find the solution read the manual.

Having a wierd problem since couple of days (used to work very well - HBH 600 with Sony Ericcson K700i). The LED on the headset is blinking Red and Green (alternate). If I keep the power button pressed - get a wierd shriek! Keeping the volume buttons pressed is also not helping.
Any ideas, pls.
