thank you!
i sent my p900 to a guy for it to be upgraded to p910:D
and apparently the bluetooth will still work because he said that he will just upgrade the firmware/ and OS and not the bluetooth driver/firmware....

Bluetooth will still work, yes, apart from the headset/handsfree. He's right, he won't touch the bluetooth firmware, but the other flashing he does makes the phone think it really is a P910i so it tries to access the bluetooth module in a slightly different way for headset usage, so it won't work.
Don't take my work for it, wait until you get it back and try and use a bluetooth headset
It's a minor problem for what is a pretty neat upgrade.

Bluetooth won't work with headsets. They pair but drop the connection every time. It will work for things like file transfer though between PC & other phones.
You will never get the QWERTY thumboard on a P900 as the hardware is different.
When u say will it light up I'm not sure what u mean. The QWERTY board isn't back-lit anyway (strangely)

Mik and others are correct I guess. Headset protocol are lil different than other BT functions.. And flashing alone will not change Mhz of the system

Hi
Just out of interest: where did you send it, how much?
And...when you get it back....what features have you found that don't work? and what is better? (ie, >256mb MS)
Thanks
Jon
