This thread is now obselete for 10.4 users since Apple released iSync 2.1 on Monday 11th July 2005 which officially supports the K750i
The Sony Ericsson K750 isn't officially supported in
iSync 2.0 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger yet. However with a simple modification it can be made to work perfectly.
(See another post below for the solution for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther)
Download and unzip
this file, which contains these two files:
MetaClasses.plist
SEK750.tiff
Then follow these instructions:
1) Quit iSync, then CTRL (or right) click on the
iSync application icon in the
Applications folder
2) Choose "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu
3) Navigate to the following directory:
Contents/PlugIns/ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice/Contents/PlugIns/PhoneModelsSync.phoneplugin/Contents/Resources/
4) Drop the two files above into this directory. The
MetaClasses.plist file will replace the existing one. The
SEK750.tiff is a new file.
5) Close all the windows, and pair the phone
If you had previously tried pairing the phone, remove details of your K750i in the
Bluetooth System Preferences and in the
~/Library/Phones directory.
You may need to initiate pairing from both the Mac
and the phone, for it to appear in iSync.
Please bear in mind that this is an unofficial and unsupported 'hack' to enable syncing for the K750 until Apple releases its own official support. If you are not happy modifying the contents of Mac application packages then please don't attempt this tip. I won't be held responsible for any damage you may cause!
However saying that, this tip has worked well for many K750 owners.
(Credit goes to
Alex Vermulst for modifying the .plist file and to me for creating the K750i iSync icon graphic!)

Here's some different instructions for adding K750 support to iSync 1.5 in Mac OS X 10.3 Panther:
http://lindmark.net/technical/osx/isync-k750i/
Note, this tip currently doesn't add the nice new K750 icon to the iSync window.

This is not working for me mate, I download the files and put them into the correct folder, but it does not replace the original files, it just sits in the folder and does nothing.
Any ideas?
As a point when I download them, the metaclasses file shows as Safari file on both my desktop and my laptop, it's called MetaClasses.plist.xml

Hmm... not sure what happened there, but there's two solutions:
1) Delete the .xml from the end of the filename of the file you downloaded and put it in that folder again (delete the one with .xml on the end).
or
2) Re-download the zip file linked above and start again (delete the .xml file from before.)
That should get you going!

Ah, you must be referring to my
Sync Now program!
It's been on
MacUpdate and
VersionTracker and its
Homepage since Saturday...
Over 300 downloads already!

Had the same problem with not getting it to work, but downloaded the file again and followed the excellent instructions - connected my phone via bluetooth and bingo, isync now shows my K750i - just synced all my phone book with address and calender with ical!
Cheers for a great workaround - esp. for us OS X users!
