Just finished a review of Wayfinder.
Please remember it does say it has my personal thoughts.
It is not a comparison to other sat navs, its just me, using wayfinder and what I think. There is some comparison to other sat navs but those are my thoughts.
Thing to remember, I wanted sat nav. I didnt want any other devices, I only have a P900 so TomTom and Route66 were out of the question.
Enjoy.

Good review mate...looks interesting. One point though if you needed to know the whereabouts of Pizza Hut in Hemel you need only of asked!, no need for GPS for that!

Great review, but I am suprised by the time map downloads take for you, I'm with orange and via GPRS the maps arrive in near real time, the ammount of time I would expect for rendering. Literal full map downloaded in less than 10seconds. (I always find this astonishing!)
Other than that best review I have read on wayfinder.

It is weird. Its not really rendering time but download time.
When using my broardband to test it was all instant, it was really good but when its via the GPRS the map can come up quite quickly, especially when its cached or pre downloaded but still takes upto 20 seconds before its ready.
The main problem is when a route is entered. I switch to the map and it displays the map quite quickly but for about 2 minutes it says "Please Wait".
