Hi,

i tried now more as 10 times to flash my K700i, but get each Time this Error.

Client Version 13.1
Shortly press Power button!
Detected SonyEricsson:
K700/K300/K500/S700/Z500.
Status Ok, OTP Close, CID29, PAF1
IMEI: 354010-00-******
Flash file CID:36
Flashing 217 blocks...
address: 44000000, block: 1/217
Block Not accepted
Execution Time - 00:00:15
Lost connection with phone. Try to flashing on
lower speed. Close all applications, especially
ICQ and WinAmp, check the battery charge,
check cable connection and try again.

Current Version is:

R2AA003
prgCXC125821_EU_1_C

I use Client 13.1 of Davinci, with the DSS-25 Docking Station and modified Driver from Davinci.

Read CID/Test cable works fine.

It's the right COM Port, detected on DSS4 and tried all speed settings from 9600-921600.

Only Windows and Davinci is running no other Programms like, Winamp, ICQ, ...

And Battery is full charged.

Any Idears ?

What files are you trying to flash?

Make sure you flash the CID29 to CID36 transform file. If you are flashing CID36 files of course.

I use this 2 Files.

K700i_FS_EU2_R2AT003_CID36.BIN
K700i_MAIN_EU_EMEA_US_R2AT003_CID36.BIN

So there is a special File to transform the file system ?

Yes, right where you download those files from there is a CID29 to CID36 transform file. So download it, Flash it with out finalization, then flash the main and FS files with finalization.

hi...how about if I've got this error when pressing the get file from web:

Checking server status...
Socket Error # 10061

Connection refused.
Can't get data

Done!

Is this because I don't have permission to download from the web?

Hi...

Do you know when I open the client davinci, and get the file, I've got error connecting to FTP.

I can check my info, server status and get the files from web but when I choose k700i transform cid29 to 36, tick download main firmware and get file > error connecting to FTP.

I turn off my firewall already but still getting this error connecting to FTP.

Can anyone help?

Is this because of the Davinci server down and I cannot download the file?

I reduce the speed and still getting the same message and tried more than 3 times already.

Should I continue retrying?

By the way, when I did the patch, under device manager still showing old version number but I already copied both files and replace to the driver folder under system32. Is this okay?

Aaahh...finally...
Successfully finish after 5 attempt. I end up change the speed to the fastest, as long as no icq, winamp or other application open and ...finished successfully.
