I have my firewall turned off, opened IE and was going to update my P910i, then I got this lame error message:
Uh oh!
Sony Ericsson makes attractive mobile phones and mobile phone accessories, and develops powerful mobile computing technology.
Unfortunately, the server encountered an internal error and could not complete your request. Please check that you typed the address (URL) correctly.
If this error recurs, please try again later when we hope the problem will have been solved.
What can I do? Am I doing something wrong..?

I suspect they have pulled the firmware updates until they can figure out what the problem so many people are having with it is.

what a crap... I will try again to morrow, but cant someone who dowloaded the firmware send it to me? Wouldn't it be possible to install firmware update that I get from other place than the offical

page??
Is there any unoffical page who has the firmware updates?
Or can anyone send it to me? please??

Gardar,
that damned java downloader actually caches the files on your computer. While it would be possible for someone to send you the files, you also have to convince the executable to load them.
Personally, I haven't researched too deep on how the entire thing works, mainly because it did work for me when I really needed it (well, if you discount the 1.5 hrs of "Back"&"Reload Pages" trying to *get* there). I know that I tried to start the executable on my own and I think it refused to start, or to put it this way, it started only to exit immediately with no error messages.
