Price needs to be under £140 (ish). PS,she is happy with her t200 but the battery is terrible, wont even last a day without needing a charge, new battery? sw upgrade? (I will post current sw version of the t200 asap) Help appreciated :-) Boyi. This message was posted from a K700

Google vodafone simple, it's just a phone with sms and calls. No camera or anything fancy, no silly little icons to confuse her. Just a big screen with big fonts and big buttons. I think it's about 70 quid though. This message was posted from a Z600

Well i must admit that mobile phone companies in general have not included people that are visually impaired into there product ranges.

But My Grandma had an Ericsson A1018s which she gets on with ok as the buttons are well spaced out and the screen is quite clear...

I gave my mom a sharp GX10i, she's happy with it, happier than she was with the T105
For my gradmother I will buy a T630 (white) clear and easy to use

@boyi -- Nokia 2600. Colour phone with a clear LCD. Large bold font. Comfortable keypad. No WAP, camera, IR & BT, which your mum don't need I suppose. But if she wants to do some budgeting it has a spreadsheet function. It has a calendar too. Battery gives great standby time. My elderly officemate, a grandma, likes it very much. Cost her only about US$107, unlocked.

@boyi - How about a Nokia 7650, sure it has a huge screen to consider. Much cheaper now too. A P800 is nice too . . .

Right,i think i missed a few minor details here, she had the cateracts* (spelling?) problem with her eyes, hope this describes the situation better.

And i wud prefer her to be on Orange (rest of family are )

Btw,my little bro has a Nokia 6230,my mum says she can see the screen ok on that phone but im trying to keep her with SE as she is more used to the menus, and of course, keep her with the best

Maybe a phone that i could do the sw upgrading for her too?

Anyway, the t200 sw is R5A 004,any chance i cud upgrade it with my dss-25? if there is one available? i dont know what the latest for t200 is.

Thx for all yer replies...i'll be back
