Hi my p910i is covered with CPW's Lifeline Complete. It covers Loss/Theft, but I have heard from friends that CPW will not replace ur headset if it is lost, is this true?
Thanks!

As long as you have lifeline complete you should be ok. Its lifeline advance dosnt cover loss. Bear in mind your dealing with insurance, dont expect to report it and have a new phone sent out as fast as if you bought a new one. Normally they want a crime reference number, then they do what they can to make sure youve not scammed them. Expect many weeks or months before you get a new phone.

Read the smallprint on your contract. As long as youve not breached them and you pay the excess you are entitled to a new phone. Of course if you breached them i.e leaving it in a car on plain view with the doors unlocked and windows open then you are not entitled

What does Lifeline Complete Cover?

* Theft/loss
* Theft from Car
* Unauthorised calls due to theft up to £2000
* Cover Abroad for up to 60 days
* Airtime Contract Protection (aka TFG)
* Damage (including water damage)
* Loan Phone
* Guaranted Equipment Value of £20 upon trade in after 12 months of no claims
* Mechanical and Electrical Breakdown after the first 12 months
* Accessory Cover upto £100

Check http://www.carphonewarehouse.[....]ATIC.LIFELINE.LIFELINECOMPLETE

If there is anything there where you think "Hmm, that applies to me" i.e if you lost it while on any water borne craft less than three (3) metres in length, then you are in trouble.
